Times are a-changin', and I'm just getting started.

With a decade of xp as an engineer/founder/manager/yada yada..., I feel grateful to be working when I am. I got into coding because I loved the feeling of building and having a tangible product from my work (whether software or not); but from working in large corps and hatred of leetcode, the fun from building diminished while the boring sh*t work piled up. Until now...

I turned down BlackRock and got my master's from Cornell Tech. Met this crazy Dutch dude named Daan who wanted to change the world on how we design buildings; won some awards and $ from Cornell, Stability AI, Google for Startups, Pear VC; dipped my feet in some consulting; and now with AI doing all the coding, I lean in heavy to see what can really get done.

Architects shouldn't have to choose between speed and craft. We built Gaia - the Generate AI Architect - to accelerate design, visualization, and collaboration for the AEC industry. Co-founded Gaia with Daan van der Zwaag, won some cool stuff, non-stop learnings, and most importantly, helped get some affordable & sustainable houses built in 🇳🇱

Healthcare sales teams waste months chasing the wrong people. Revealed turned a tedious research and outreach process into a simplified agent that was fun to interact with. As the Founding Engineer, we launched three products to market in one year. MIT called us a top 10 AI startup to watch. Fun times.

Morangie Management→

Short term consultant project for a family NYC Wealth Management firm full of AMAZING people. Think wealth management meets NLP - secure document parsing, auto-branded PowerPoint generation, and an internal Monte Carlo tool. Also helped build their site and brand.

DTCC→

Joined straight out of college, selected for EDGE program, and launched two products to market - ITP Data Analytics and FRTB Data Services. For FRTB, was ETL backend dev doing pyspark/python/aws stuff and ITP Data Analytics led a team of full stack engineers doing angular and java. After three years, wanted a change and BlackRock made an offer for an accelerated VP track program to be an engineer on their Aladdin product, but nah…
